Choose Happy

I was gifted this sweet little notebook last week & the words, colors, & sprinkling of hearts made me immediately feel happy. It sparked an emotion of joy & made me wonder why we would ever choose an option that did not make us happy. I am not advocating that there is happiness in all life’s events. It’s just if we have a choice, why not Choose Happy! Feeling good & having positive emotions does good things for our brains & bodies. They lower stress hormones, help ease anxiety & depression, & improve our immune system.

Children are so happy when they are at play. They laugh a lot, get dirty, roll in the grass & splash thru mud puddles, and socially engage with each other thru the games they play. I want to be a kid again & have play dates. If I sent you an invitation to join me for a play date, would you come, or would you think I needed a mental adjustment? Probably the latter 😊.

I love my notebook & have it on my desk as a reminder of the freedom of choice I can make. I’m also sending out play date invitations. Look for yours in the mail.
