Christmas in Dahlonega 2023
If you’ve never experienced Christmas in Dahlonega, it is well worth a trip to feel the magic of Christmas. The square transforms into a fairyland of lights with carriage tours and beautiful window displays. Dahlonega has served as a backdrop for several Hallmark movies and truly is like a movie set. Below are just a few highlights of windows from some of the stores.
The General Store is a place to find anything from marbles to a $.05 cup of coffee.
You can find all things ice cream at Kilwin’s Ice Cream Shop, but also chocolates and candy!
Brad Walker’s Pottery – Brad’s been a staple in town since the 60’s. I have several of his pieces. You will usually find him behind his potter’s wheel when you visit his store.
Cranberry Corner is an eclectic store with everything from cards to vintage. It’s always worth a peek for unusual treasure finds.
