Halloween 2025

The past few days at work presented an opportunity to feel some levity and engage in some wholesome fun. Particularly today, there was a lot of laughter when employees dressed as their favorite character and paraded before a panel of judges to compete against each other. It definitely wasn’t for the prizes (candy, & little pumpkins), but we all needed this little boost as we close out October and move into November.
I have enjoyed decorating my office with some fall decor. My office door is colorful with a little fall wreath surrounded by a little Mexican influence of the garland.
Last year, I painted the double pumpkins, and this year, I painted a smaller pumpkin with an impish look.

This year, I was Frida Kahlo again. She is my very favorite artist because she inspired strength, courage, and the pain she endured throughout her life. She painted mostly self-portraits. She said she knew herself better than anyone else.

Frida overcame so many obstacles but remained true to herself. She lived a short life, but one that has never been forgotten. I want to be like Frida.
Happy Halloween! I hope your treat bag was filled with your favorite candy.
