Looking Back on 2023
This is my 73rd opportunity to move forward into a new year. I am grateful to be able to have another chance to be a better person, accomplish some more goals, and make a difference for someone other than myself. A good deed or kindness that I have given from the heart, with no expectation of something in return, has given me a multitude of blessings this past year.
My most precious blessings have been those of family. Any opportunity to spend time together with Jesse and Bryan for a group hug is my best gift.
They amaze me at their accomplishments and I love that they also enjoy spending time with me. Jesse became a naturalized Peruvian citizen this year and Bryan is over halfway through his doctorate
I have been doubly blessed with the best daughters-in-law, Rocio and Melissa. They are both professionals and extremely kind and loving.
And of course my GRANDS. Two very independent and intelligent ladies following their passions and dreams. Morgan started her own business this year and Paula continues to pursue her studies in higher education.
And last but not least, my partner in crime. We continue to be “geographic bachelors” but it takes us both to keep the home fires burning on all fronts.
