Meet Waffle
Life is funny and unpredictable. I believe if your heart is in the right place, you will have more blessings than you can manage. That is true of people, whether family or friends and all other things that make you happy and bring you joy.
Last year, I lost my dear, sweet Pancake. She was the best snuggle buddy that anyone could have.
She was my traveling companion, my confidante, and my best furry friend. She brought me tons of happiness and joy. My heart hurt a lot when it was time for her to cross over Rainbow Bridge, but I was so blessed to have had her and be able to shower her with love.
I have continued to feed the outdoor neighborhood cats, but they primarily stay cautious, although they will come around for food. I respect their feral behavior because they have had a hard life on the streets, and they want to remain independent.
However, on Sunday, I had a different visitor at my door. This one was not like the others. He wanted in the house. He was hungry and wanted to be fed, and he wanted to be picked up and loved. He had no desire to go back outside, and I had no desire to put him out. So, meet Waffle.
He’s like a male version of Pancake. A little tuxedo baby, maybe about 6-9 months. I believe that Pancake has sent me a blessing, and he definitely is a sweet and loving one, just like she was.
So, thank you, Pancake, for sending me this precious blessing to care for. Your spirit lives on. ❤️

I have tears in my eyes! You have such a beautiful way of expressing your heart. I so look forward to meeting Waffle. Perhaps another fur baby will show up and you’ll name her Maple Syrup. Or Butter.
